Overbuilt and Underdelivered
After spending months building a custom infrastructure for my personal projects, I realized I was solving problems I didn’t really have. What started as an attempt to gain full control ended in countless hours lost to setup and maintenance. In the end, a lightweight tool did more than I needed — and taught me that simplicity, fast iterations, and focus often beat perfection and complexity.
